Justice Y. I. Singh
Mr.Y.I.Singh did his graduation & LL.B. from
Allahabad- joined as Deputy Collector in Manipur in 1959. In 1965 posted as
Munsiff-Magistrate and promoted as Sub-Judge in 1968 and Additional District Judge in
1972. Joined the Revenue Tribunal in 1975. Appointed as District Judge in 1979 on which
post he served till 1988 when he was appointed as Director of Prosecution. Elevated to
Bench on 5th December, 1988. Justice Singh hails from Manipur.
Supreme Court of India came up in
1958 and is located on Tilak Marg, New Delhi. The Supreme Court of India
functioned from the Parliament House till it moved to the present
building....
